Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filter for 55-100 Gallon Fish Tanks

The Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters are equipped with large media baskets that come pre-loaded with media for all three stages of filtration: Foam Pads (mechanical), Carbon (chemical), Bio-Balls and Bio-Ceramic Rings (biological). These filters are designed for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, and the filter media can be arranged to fit any aquarium. Additionally, each filter comes with different return fixtures to choose from, including the traditional Water Director, Spray Bar, and a unique hang on the back Polishing Unit.

The Polishing Unit allows for the use of one Large Aqueon Filter Cartridge to filter the water one final time before it enters the aquarium. Replacing the cartridge is quick and easy, taking just a moment to do. There are three different sizes of filters available, catering to aquariums all the way up to 155 gallons. The Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters were developed by fish enthusiasts to meet the needs of fellow hobbyists and their fish tank needs, offering multi-stage filtration that includes biological, chemical, and mechanical components.

The filters also provide easy access for quick routine maintenance with the included hang on the back polishing unit. They offer multiple water return options for optimal versatility to best suit a variety of aquarium habitats, including the spray bar, water director, and water polishing unit. The Water Polishing Unit uses Large Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges, which should be replaced monthly. The filters also require internal media replacement, with the carbon needing to be changed every 30 days, the foam pad needing to be rinsed or replaced as needed, and the white polishing pad needing to be changed as needed.

In addition to the quick disconnect valves, the filters also come with pump locking heads, water intake/output connections, hoses, and the water polishing unit with cartridge and media, including activated carbon, coarse foam, bio-balls, and bio-ceramic rings. These filters are suitable for aquariums up to 75 gallons in size.
